What does Equinaire Mean?
“Equinaire” means equity based millionaire. We have coined the term to describe a new generation of wealth. The following section describes our mission as a company and the inspiration behind our team of professionals.
Changing Times in Real Estate
In the past, millionaires conformed to a certain profile. They had substantial incomes or large inheritances that enabled them to accumulate even more capital and amass even larger fortunes. But times have changed and the vehicle of change has been real estate appreciation in desirable markets such as California, Nevada and Florida. Middle class Americans driving compact sedans, clipping coupons and working overtime to cover bills have been transformed within a matter of a few years into the owners of extremely valuable assets and have become wealthy as a result. This new wealth is equity. Equity is the difference between the market value of a property and the debt owed against the property. For example, if a house is worth $500,000 and there is one mortgage against it for $350,000, the equity in the house is $150,000. The owner of this house can add this $150,000 to his or her net worth.
The Power of Real Estate Appreciation
As a result, there is a growing generation of homeowners who have achieved unprecedented levels of wealth as a result of the power of real estate appreciation (i.e., the rising value of real estate). Unfortunately, this generation does not fully recognize how wealthy and how powerful they have become as a group. There are literally billions of dollars sitting untapped in the homes of middle class America. If harnessed, these dollars would confer a tremendous amount of investing power on people who have historically been overlooked by the investment firms that keep the wheels of commerce turning.
Equinaire Goals
At Equinaire, we are determined to awaken the homeowners of America to the power and potential of their unique situation. We intend to help give them their rightful place in the investment markets as bona fide players. Our goal is for Equinaires to have the same respect that millionaires have had
for decades.
